Powered by two Caterpillar 3512 marine diesel engines that develop 860kW each at 1600 rpm, that drive forward to a pair of Liaaen TNC 83/56-210 azimuthing propeller units with a 2100mm 4 blade controllable pitch propellers housed in nozzles, that produce 29t bollard pull ahead. Auxiliary power is provided by 2 x Caterpillar 3306 turbocharged diesel engines that drive 138 KVa, 3 phase, 400V, 50 Hz alternators. A FiFi pump is driven off the front of each of the main engines PTO which delivers 630m3/hr. to each of the two FiFi monitors mounted on the Monkey Island. On the aft deck is the towing winch with a single drum which has a line speed of 75m/min @ 15 ton haul on a bare drum and a 55-tonne brake load. The drum is spooled with 180m of 88mm SSR-1200 main line along with a 15m x 41mm Amsteel-Blue pennant. There is also a 30 ton Towing Hook with a remote quick release and a 2 ton Tugger winch mounted to port of the towing winch. The aft enclosed towing staple has a single fairlead. The Unic A500 Knuckle Boom deck crane has a SWL 1.0t @ 2 meters and is mounted to starboard of the towing winch. Accommodation for 9 persons in 4 x 2 berth and 1 x 1 berth cabins.

The Centurion 25 Pilot house Minitug is our latest upgraded design of the Centurion 25 Minitug incorporating a Pilothouse at the bow for working in different weather conditions. The boat is constructed tough and strong with a static bollard pull of almost 2000kg. Constructed with multiple chambers, foam filled construction with self-draining cockpit, this boat provides safety for crews working in open waters. Boat is suitable for use as a mooring boat, small tug or pusher, pulling oil booms, or even as a general-purpose workboat.

NEW BUILD - RAscal 1600 Line Handling Launch

The Robert Allan Ltd. Designed RAscal 1600 is designed to provide improved efficiency, comfort, and safety for its work role. Although having the outward appearance of a tug, the RAscal 1600 is a launch with lighter construction and slimmer, more streamlined hull. The hull and deckhouse are steel, constructed to Lloyd’s rules, and outfitted to international regulatory standards. It is powered by a single Caterpillar C18 engine rated 447 kW (600 hp) driving a one metre diameter four-bladed propeller in a steering nozzle via a Twin Disc MGX-5146SC, 2.5:1 reduction gearbox and a stainless-steel shaft. The steering nozzle provides good efficiency and manoeuvrability ahead as well as excellent stopping and reverse performance and control. Comfortable overnight accommodations for three crew are provided in the foc’sle. Fit out includes two cabins, a pantry, mess, and washroom with shower. There is also a crew rest area in the spacious wheelhouse. Visibility to the sides, forward, and overhead is also excellent. A protective pipe cage is fitted over the house to prevent the ship’s mooring lines snagging on the house.

This Centurion 30 Minitug is constructed with a catamaran hull design for higher stability during work. Twin Isuzu 320hp Marine diesel engine is combined with powerful Hamilton Waterjets to give it a 2000kg bollard pull. A hydraulic capstan is also installed on deck to allow oil hoses to be pulled onboard for maintenance before releasing it back to service offshore.
