Owners would like to highlight the flexibility of this unique vessel. She is a low draft vessel combined with a low air draft, making her exceptionally useful for river cruising where there are low bridges and shallow channels. In addition because of her beam she is an excellent sea boat and the Owners have used her in the open waters of Port Phillip Bay where beam seas would make the ride uncomfortable on many vessels. The vessel is not equipped with a fixed galley as this would take up space which is better used for passengers. When used for catered functions it is easy to set up temporary catering facilities. Owner feel that the flexibility that the vessel offers will make her a very useful addition to any tourist fleet. Potential buyers should note that due to her seakeeping capabilities she could be relocated to anywhere in Australia on her own bottom with a possibility that she could sail to New Zealand.

Phantom was originally built as a commercial crew boat and Dive tender. The professional ‘Explorer style’ conversion started as a "bare hull", with the addition steel superstructure and an aluminium fly bridge. The interior, electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems were completed and two 480hp Volvo Penta main engines and caterpillar generators installed. The vessel is structurally sound with associated machinery in good condition. Phantom presents a strong Explorer style exterior with a quality yacht finish internally. The vessel has four full cabins, three with ensuite heads. It has two smaller cabins with berths and practical mechanical and electrical systems. An ultra sound inspection showed all of the hull plating to be in sound condition. Phantom has been continually upgraded, maintained and serviced by her owners. She is fully Australian registered and ‘turn-key’ ready to continue coastal or international voyaging.

This unique and traditional vessel has been fully refitted paying full attention to Danish quality and design traditions. Preserving tradition – celebrating Nordic culture and design The history of M/S NAVIGATOR relates to Danish maritime traditions and the Port of Copenhagen. Likewise, the machine room was refitted per its original design while adding elements required by today’s standards. The remainder of the ship’s interior has on the contrary been fully updated per Danish quality and interior design traditions. The Blyth 11m is available as both an asymmetric hull form and the Deep Vee planing hull form. The asymmetric has a fine forward section developing into a medium deadrise single chine form aft allowing the vessel to plane for high speed operations. Fitted with water jets it offers extremely shallow draft and excellent sea keeping characteristics. The deep Vee used commonly for our general workboat application has a very fine entry which has the design optimised for low resistance, exceptional levels of performance, economy and comfort.
