GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The boat is based on previous LC Type workboats designed by our office and is customized to the requirements of the operator.

In order to withstand the rigours of daily use in difficult surroundings the structure is overbuilt, while systems and equipment are kept simple to allow easy maintenance.

Deck layout and console features per operator’s requirements. Owner can request modifications to better address specific operational needs.

A pilot station, placed aft , offers good visibility and quality seating for 2 crew. Inside theconsole an optional porta-potty type toilet can be installed.

Passengers seating are placed forward and can be to Owner’s requirements.

CONSTRUCTION

Structures as per ISO 12215-6 European Scantling Rules.

Aluminum alloy construction, plates of 5083 (Al Mg 4.5) and extrusions 6060 T6 (Al Mg 0.5 F22).

3 watertight bulkheads divide the hull into separate compartments. Internal structure of closely spaced frames and longitudinal stiffeners. Plates of 5, 6, 10 and 12 mm. thickness.

are employed for the shell and internal structure.

Transverse structure is on 800mm spacing, longitudinal structure on 350 mm spacing.

An additional 6 mm. plate is welded along the central part of the bottom plates to give extra abrasion resistance where it contacts the beach.
