Jongert 2000S is a stunning 20.20-metre aluminium performance ocean cruiser, designed by renowned naval architect Doug Peterson and built by the legendary Dutch Jongert B.V. shipyard. This boat was substantially refitted in 2006 and has continued to benefit from numerous upgrades in recent years.

Her aluminium hull, deck and superstructure, protected central deckhouse and powerful Rondal cutter rig give her an impressive blend of performance, safety and practicality.

The yacht is particularly well equipped for serious cruising. Her rig incorporates hydraulic in-mast mainsail furling, hydraulic genoa and staysail furlers, while the extensive Lewmar hydraulic winch package makes sail handling remarkably straightforward.

Manoeuvrability is excellent, with a 186 hp Perkins Sabre diesel, Hundested variable-pitch propeller and a 12.5 kW retractable hydraulic bow thruster. Her 2.60-metre Scheel keel with lead ballast provides a combination of stability and reduced draft, allowing access to a wider range of cruising grounds.

Navigation equipment includes an updated Garmin package with chart plotters, radar, autopilot and sailing instruments, complemented by a 25 kW Onan generator, updated Victron electrical equipment, a 62-litre-per-hour watermaker, reverse-cycle air conditioning and Webasto heating.

Below deck, Jongert 2000S offers a spacious and refined interior finished in high-quality teak joinery, leather upholstery and Alcantara headlinings. The large aft owner’s suite features French beds, a vanity area, ample storage and a generous ensuite bathroom with a separate shower.

Forward are two mirrored guest cabins with upper and lower berths, each with its own ensuite bathroom and separate shower, while a dedicated crew cabin with ensuite facilities occupies the forepeak.

The well-appointed galley includes a four-burner induction hob, microwave/grill, multiple refrigeration and freezer units, dishwasher andtwin stainless-steel sinks, with a washing machine adding further practicality for extended cruising.

A hydraulic fold-out bathing platform, folding passarelle, foredeck tender storage and protected cockpit complete a yacht that combines genuine bluewater credentials with an exceptional level of comfort.
