Originally built in 1980 in Australia as a Stern Trawler, she has since had her trawl gear removed and is now set up as a Ling Potting Vessel, but can be easily converted to operate as a Long Liner or back as a trawler again.
The vessel has the wheelhouse forward with a large aft work deck that is covered by an aluminium shelter.
The single Caterpillar D379 marine diesel engine produces 570 HP @ 1225 rpm and is coupled to a Twin Disc MG530M gearbox with 3.13:1 reduction, driving a 3 bladed 1168mm diameter propeller in a Korts Nozzle.

Electrical power on board the vessel is provided by the three auxiliary generators and via shore power. The main auxiliary is a Cummins 350 HP coupled to a 97 kVA alternator, the secondary auxiliary is a Deutz BF4 2011C Oil coupled to a 80 kVA alternator and the harbour auxiliary is a Isuzu Diesel-Zenith Engineering 4JG1 coupled to a 21kVA generator.

Electrical loads on board are 415 & 230 volts AC 50 Hz and include the Victron Energy 24volt/2000VA/50amp Inverter/Battery Charger for charging the 24volt and 12volt DC services and the Victron Energy 24volt/1600VA Inverter and the shore power CMP 415volt/45kVA Isolation transformer, which are all located in the engine room.
The hydraulics are driven off the main engine and or the auxiliary Cummins engine.
Diesel capacity is 30,000 litres in five tanks, freshwater capacity is 15,000 litres and there are two brine tanks with a total capacity of 20,000 litres.

Fish hold capacity is approx.. 45 tonne and can be refrigerated down to -10 degrees C.
There are two (2) Jarden No. 5 Trawl winches that are included as part of the vessel’s equipment, but are not currently installed.
A single telescopic hydraulic crane with a 600 kg SWL is located on top of the after end of the wheelhouse with access to the fish hold & shelter deck.

Electronic equipment on board includes:
