Blyth Workcats, based in Essex, England specialises in the design and build of GRP catamarans for commercial operators across a wide range of different industries. The company designs and builds customised boats, working closely alongside clients to develop and deliver a boat unique to their individual needs whether it be for charter angling, diving, commercial fishing, passenger carrying, crew transfer or survey work.

Blyth Workcats has been building boats for more than 20 years and supplied vessels all over the world from the Falkland Islands to Dubai, Australia to Gibraltar and established an enviable reputation within the industry as suppliers of stable, sea-going, value-for-money boats that get the job done.

Blyth Workcats has its own ‘in-house’ technical department enabling the company to tailor an existing, proven, design to meet specific customer needs. A fully equipped WFSV specifically designed for EON. Capable of carrying 12 technicians and 2 crews.





Sight Seeing Vessel – ‘Serenity’

LOA: 12 metres

Beam: 4.96 metres

Engines: Twin Iveco 400hp

Speed: 26.5 Knots

Based on a 12 metre hull, Serenity II is a scenic excursion vessel operating trips to the Farne Islands out of the Northumbrian coastal town of Seahouses. This vessel is certified to MCA class rules.





Survey – ‘Storm’

LOA: 12 metres

Beam: 4.96 metres

Engines: Twin Iveco 400hp

Speed: 27 Knots

A 12 metre vessel specially equipped for marine survey work, ammunition detection and general hydrographic and oceanographic activity.





Fishing Vessel – ‘Asterix’

LOA: 12 metres

Beam: 4.96 metres

Engines: Twin Iveco 400hp

Speed: 25 Knots

A 12 metre vessel specifically designed for potting, long-lining and netting, operating out of the port of Traslovslage, 40 miles south of Gothenburg, Sweden.





Bunkers/Pilot Vessel – ‘RMS2′

LOA: 12 metres

Beam: 4.96 metres

Speed: 27 Knots

Engines: Twin Iveco 400hp

A 12 metre vessel designed to effect crew and stores transfers in the busy Straits of Gibraltar and Bay of Algeciras.
