MATERIALS AND STANDARDS
Major materials and equipment will be selected according to the mutual agreed
Maker’s List at the Builder’s discretion.
Chinese Standard (GB, CB/CBM, CSQS, etc.) and Builder’s Standard to be applied to the construction of the vessel.
The hull will be of all-welded structure.
The main hull shall be longitudinally framed in general, except that fore and/or aft ends of the hull may be longitudinally and/or transversely framed as per the Builder’s practice. Hull scantling, construction and workmanship to be in compliance with the requirements of the Classification Society and the Builder’s practice.
Scantlings not specified by the Classification Society to be in accordance with the Builder’s practice. Main deck to be made of steel with no sheer or no camber in cargo area, with strengthening according to Class. Insert plate is to be fitted in way of heavy equipment foundation.
The deck load in cargo area to be 5t/m2.

SHAFTING AND PROPELLER
The vessel will provide two (2) off forged steel shafting and fixed pitch solid, manganese bronze propellers. The diameter of shaft should be met requirement of Class.
Provided key connection between shaft and propeller.
Other necessary components, such as bearing, stern tube, seal, shaft lock device, fair water cap etc. should be provided.
Shaft bearings to be of sleeve bearing type with temperature sensors. Water tight bulkhead penetrations in accordance with class requirements
No spare propeller and spare propeller shaft to be provided.
Grease to be applied to propeller shaft between fair water cap and propeller boss.
ELECTRICAL GENERATING PLANT
Two (2) sets Main generator of 4-stroke, single acting, trunk piston engine each rigidly coupled to a one bearing water-cooled alternator type, about 50kW, AC415V, 50Hz.
BOW THRUSTER (OPTION)
One (1) tunnel bow thruster of approximately 5 tones thrust driven by an independent diesel engine of approximately 480 HP is to be installed.
All necessary controls and interlocks to be provided.
