The barge is heavily built with 4 watertight compartments, 150mm x 100mm x 10mm longitudinal beams with  100mm x 6mm top and bottom frames, and 75mm x 50mm x 6mm vertical stiffners and 100mm Sch80 Pipe Stanchions as deck supports.
The belting is timber fitted into 150mm x 75mm steel channel.

Painting : All steel blasted and painted prior to construction works.
External Underwater - International Intergard 269 epoxy, Intertuf 362, Intergard 263, Antifouling.
External Topsides - International Interzone 954 epoxy, topcoat Interthane 990.
Barge Deck - International Interzone 954 epoxy

In terms of the carrying capacity / deck loading capability of this barge.

This is a more complicated question, as it depends on the actual function and location of the barge and the operating parameters.

By quick calculation approx 50 tonnes of weight could be placed evenly on the deck of the barge which would put it to the level of its belting - ie: it would essentially almost be sinking.
