Structure
The steel vessel is designed as bulk cargo carrier driven by diesel engine with single deck, ships with machinery aft, single shell and single steering gear. The whole ship is mix framing. The main structure members should be designed as the requirements of Domestic seagoing statutory survey technical regulation for the ship in the offing navigating zone. The spacing of frame : cargo hold 640mm, other area 600mm. According to the general arrangement, 6 watertight / oil-tight transverse bulkhead should be fitted extending the port and starboard, and the bulkhead should be supported by vertical stiffeners. Moreover, several longitudinal and transverse in parts should be fitted according to the arrangement. CCSA steels for constructing this vessel fulfill the requirements of CCS’s regulations in 2006. Bow and stern of this vessel is welded with steel plating. Welding should be conducted according to the “welding specification ”, the shipyard should work out a reasonable welding technic in order to reduce the distortion of steels in welding, and the welding materials for hull structure should comply with the requirements of 《regulation for materials and welding》(2006) of CCS. The shipyard can decide to adopt integral construction or sub sectional construction according to its real condition(such as working place, crane capacity, workmanship, etc.) , and should workout logical construction technics in advance in accordance with the structural characteristics of the vessel constructed. Drain holes and air holes are to be made in the structure members of all liquid tanks. All the temporary holes made in the period of construction should be well closed before finishing the ship-construction, ensuring the requirements for strength and the watertight/oil-tight. All temporary supporting plates and eye plates should be cleared and all weld scars should be burnished before finishing the ship-construction. In order to reduce the possible vibration, the following measures should be take. Bulkhead of upper structure should be aligning with that of deckhouse. If the aligning cannot conducted according to the requirement of arrangement, web framework should be fitted at Fr.28 and Fr.131. Longitudinal structure members at bilge of this vessel are pretty successional. Main engine seating should extend to fore bulkhead and aft bulkhead, and make effective transition. Web frame and web beam whose spacing is not more than 5 frame spacing should be fitted inside engine room and connected with floor, forming a stable transverse web framework. The spacing of deck girder in upper structure and deckhouse should not be more than 3.4m so as to increase rigidity of deck plating. Moreover, winch, anchor winch, boat chock, mast, and chimney should be reinforced partially.

Bilge Structure
Bottom structure in the cargo hold area is longitudinal double bottom framing, plate floors are to be fitted at 4 frames, side girders are to be fitted at both sides of the center girder. Inner bottom plating of 12mm and 14mm thick should be fitted at floor of the whole cargo hold area. Longitudinal structure members at bilge of this vessel are pretty successional.

Board side Framing
The board side is transverse framing structure, and the board side framing in cargo hold area is main-frame type. Beam bracket and beam which should be connected with shipside tank and bottom side tank are fitted at the superior and lower end of frames. Web frames which spacing should not more than 4×600mm should be fitted in engine room, and web beams should be fitted at corresponding places. Beam bracket and beam which should be connected with floor are fitted at the superior and lower end of common frames in engine room. The other areas are transverse framing structure, and reinforcement should be conducted at bow according to the requirements of bow reinforcement. Bow platform should be fitted at 5100mm from baseline at bow of this vessel.

Deck Framing
Deck beam should be directly welded with stringer web at position where deck beam get across the stringer, and frame should be connected with bracket at the ends of beams. Bracket should be fitted at ends of beam of main deck beyond opening line in cargo hold area and connected with hatch side girder and frames.

Bulkhead
Six watertight bulkhead which extend to both port and starboard should be fitted at Fr.4, Fr.7, Fr.28, Fr.80, Fr. 131, and Fr. 136. Moreover, longitudinal and transverse bulkheads in part should be fitted partially, stiffeners should be fitted at bulkheads.

Superstructure and Deckhouse
Forecastle is fitted before Fr.131, main deckhouse is fitted from Fr.4-Fr.26, and four tires of deckhouse are fitted above main deck. All deckhouse is transverse framing.

Cargo hold hatch coaming
The height of cargo hold hatch coaming at longitudinal and midship sections, the thickness is 14mm. faceplate is to fitted at the superior border as roller walkway of hatch cover plating. Horizontal stiffener is to fitted at coaming. Moreover, vertical bracket which spacing is 1280mm should be fitted.

Other
Bulwark plating of 1100mm high should be fitted on main deck at stern, and the thickness of bulwark plating is 8mm. One vertical bracket of L(8×300/80) should be fitted at every two frames. Railings of 1100 mm high should be fitted at cargo hold area. Stem and sternpost are made of steels and welded. Their connection to shell plate and hull framing should be firm, and the welding materials should adopt the basic low-hydrogen electrode; the shipyard should take strict trial technics and examination measures to ensure the quality of fittings and welding.
