Fleur du Cap has served reliably in several roles after her successful service within the SA Navy. She has been used in Escort duties for vessels transiting High-risk areas, engaging in specialist operations such as rig removals, ROV support, cable laying and survey. Also supporting an array of other marine tasks offshore East Africa and South Africa. She is currently undergoing refit of her accommodation areas.
Amongst other she has recently been on Charter to Clients such as Drum Cussac / STAT Oil, BELFORD Dolphin and TDM – Telecomunicacoes de Mocambique
Fleur can accommodate up to 24 POB and is a perfect platform to embark a mobile protection team.
The vessel has a twin-engine configuration and is a desirable option as escort duty vessel, with an economical speed of 12 knots and able to comfortably increase to 14 knots plus.
