SPEED / CONSUMPTION/FUEL OIL SPECIFICATION
Speed and consumption are based on ISO condition, good weather, smooth sea of BF 2 and maximum Douglas sea state 2 on even keel with clean bottom and maximum sea water temperature not exceeding 290C laden condition on design draft.
Approx 0.96 kl MGO per day for Auxiliary in Ports idle (excl. reefers and cranes) (1 AE)
Approx 2.90 kl MGO per day for Auxiliary in Ports including ship gear operation
Approx 1.92 kl MGO per day at sea excluding RF container on board
Approx.0.60 kl MGO for boiler burning
Consumption in port and at sea for auxiliary engine when reefers are to be maintained in port and at sea plus about 588 ltr/day of MGO per each 10 teu reefers containers.
Vessel might consume additional MGO when maneuvering in shallow waters, canals, rivers, bad weather, in case of emergency etc and for heating fuel oil tanks/boiler. For Maneuvering and Berthing vessel is burning MGO as per below specification and running bow thruster, simultaneously 3 diesel generator are operated for entering /leaving ports approaches as required for save navigation.

Charterers shall only supply suitable fuels to enable main propulsion and auxiliaries machinery to operate efficiently and without harmful effects, fuels to be mineral based products, stable and homogeneous and shall not contain waste lubricants ( ULO) chemical and others harmful substances. Charterers to provide sufficient quantity of MGO during sea passages for operating auxiliaries /generators in case of emergency. Sludge removal, if any to be charter’s account/time. Vessel will participate in the fuel quality testing programs, where samples will be taken during each bunkering. The new bunker shall not be used until Master has received fuel analysis result shows that fuel has met the specs.
