This 24m Maxi was built by Allan Bond (of Americas Cup fame) as "Drumbeat" to win the Sidney to Hobart in 1989. She was seized by the Australian tax office and sold to an American company which raced her around the east coast of the US. Brought to OZ SAIL and converted to overnight sailing and diving trips 7 years ago. This is a strong boat. The best ocean yacht the OZ SAIL skipper has sailed. Handles heavy conditions with ease.
