SeaBoats are proud to announce that we are now world-wide dealers for Mac Boats.  Mac Boats® first started business in Tauranga, New Zealand in 1986 with an 8ft polyethylene dinghy.  This was a great success with all around the world and from there the range has grown and continues to grow.

Presenting boats that put the fun back into boating:

Being light in weight, Mac Boats® are easy to launch and need less horse power than a comparable-sized fibreglass boat, so you’ll save initial cost as well as fuel costs. Mac Boats® will provide years of trouble-free boating with strength up to five times that of fibreglass, positive-buoyant and won’t rust or corrode. Polyethylene is a new generation material for safe boating.

Mac Boats® are resilient enough to take bumps and knocks from novice boaters, or from those more seasoned players who are hard on their equipment. They’re also built to level flotation, and all boats are foam filled with polyurethane to provide this standard safety feature, which is a mandatory requirement for marine Commercial Survey. This benefits commercial or professional operators who use their boats as a business tool and who can have “peace of mind” to know that this requirement is standard in every hull produced today.

Low maintenance

Mac Boats® are manufactured from marine grade polyethylene. They are virtually indestructible and are up to five times stronger than fibreglass, with no corrosion, osmosis or gel coat to crack or fade.

Soft Riding

Mac Boats® are positive-buoyant and lighter than comparable fibreglass boats so the ride is noticeably softer.

Polyethylene is a positive- buoyant material, unlike aluminium and fibreglass which means it floats on water.

At Mac Boats® we take safety very seriously. All Mac Boats® are manufactured with Endurathane 3245-100R, a closed-cell polyurethane foam. This feature provides

“level flotation” even when you forget to put the bung in or should a serious accident occur.

Our Mac Boats® are a “double walled” one - piece hull. The inner and outer skin are joined or “kissed off” as one from the bow to the stern. This provides stiffness and strength.

Tasman Glacier

Glacier Explorers Boat Cruises based at Mount Cook Glacier use Mac Boats®. Our boats are particularly popular in harsh operating conditions where a tough,

low-maintenance boat is required to perform under extreme conditions. This makes them ideal for their use at Tasman Glacier.

Coastguard and Hire Boats

Mac Boats® exceptional pontoon stability and ease of exit and re-entry make them a first choice with safety boat operators, divers and fishermen. The boats are ideal

not only for leisure boating enthusiasts, but also for work boats, resorts and hire/rental applications. NZ Coastguard use Mac Boats® for training purposes.

Mac 210 Dinghy

The “Baby Mac” 210 Dinghy is a great little tender, or dinghy, which is lightweight and yet very stable. You can easily transport a Mac210 on a roof rack, campervan or even carry it up the beach. It’s ideal for rowing or motoring to your mooring, but it is just as much fun playing on the water.

Mac 270 Dinghy

Love me tender. This handy pontoon boat is built to carry your mates and your gear. It’s easy to manoeuvre, with plenty of buoyancy. As a tender it’s light enough to tow along or toss on the deck. As a fun boat it can be easily handled by less experienced boaters no problem. Plus it’s durable enough to take the punishment from a hard life.

Mac 340

This 340 is a perfect boat to go fishing around the rocks, or for cray pot-setting. Rated for three people with level flotation buoyancy, it makes it a perfect boat for the beach

and for the whole family to use without worrying about the knocks or

Mac 360 Standard

This nippy performer is a real revolution that takes boating a complete 360 deg. Despite its compact dimensions the Mac 360 is remarkably stable thanks to its pontoon-style sides and hull design. Yet it’s tougher than any boat you’ve seen before. Best of all, you won’t need a lot of power to get the performance you require when you need to escape.

Mac 360 Forward Steer

A great little lake, or estuary boat, or tender that can take the occasional hard knock against jetties, shores and rocks. The convenient forward steer position makes it really manoeuvrable and leaves plenty of room for friends and your gear. Suitable for calm water or light swells. This boat is also ideal for the serious fly fisherman or diver. Easy to launch from a beach this Mac360 is a great boat for the holiday home or as a tender on

a large boat.

Mac 360 Mac Attack

Move over Jet Skis, the Mac Attack 360 is coming through. You’re in the driving position of a jet ski (PWC) yet with the stability and maneuverability of a boat. Then, when you’re done zipping around or jumping waves, there’s room for you and your mate to relax and

even throw a fishing line over. It’s just the perfect two person dive boat. It’s the smartest design to hit the waves in years and can be legally driven in places where jet skis have had their day. With a 30hp motor it will even tow a skier or a wake boarder. Take one for a run, it’s a blast, with its unique design and versatility it’s a must for a super-yacht tender.

Mac 370 Sailing Dinghy

The Mac 370 is styled as a traditional clinker built dinghy for sailing. The un-stayed mast is in two sections which when dismantled, will sit inside the boat. The boat can be prepared for sailing in about 15 minutes. It is a very stable boat which makes it easy to sail. The Mac 370 is an ideal boat for families or yachting organizations wanting a robust economic vessel for so many purposes. This sailing dinghy is ideal for summer camps, sailing schools and outdoor pursuits centres. The Sir Peter Blake Marine Educational Centre has operated these boats for 17 years with 1200 children and adults a year using them which is a real testament for value and durability.

Mac 370 Clinker Cutter

The Mac 370 is styled as a traditional clinker built dinghy but with a 2hp motor it is now a power boat. The side and stern seats are fully sealed and filled with foam providing masses of reserve buoyancy. There is an amidships thwart and two rowlock mounts set

in the gunwales. There is sufficient seating for four people plus room for gear.

Mac 390

The Mac 390 has a shallow draft making it a great lake or estuary boat that will also hold its own in rougher conditions and goes like a rocket. The convenient forward steer position and windscreen makes it a comfortable dry boat that is ideal for friends and gear. Easy to launch from the beach this boat is a very soft ride and per forms as well as a Mac 420 but requires less horse power. It gets up on the plane with ease and hold its own against a Mac Attack but is more versatile in its use due to internal space and seating. The Mac 390 is an ideal small ski boat, wakeboard boat, fishing, diving or family boat at a very affordable price. This would be the best all round per forming boat for its size in the market.

Mac 420 Tiller Steer

The 420 Tiller Steer is a very popular fishing and diving boat. The 420 Tiller Steer is stable, safe and easy to tow, launch and retrieve and provides a soft ride “second to none” in its size range with generous internal space. If you try it you will buy it.

The 420 Tiller Steer is popular for commercial use as a very stable boat to work from. With stability and lots of room internally it is a ‘winner’ for the commercial operator.

Mac 420 Sport

This 420 model is ideally suited for first-time family boating needs, with the added feature of high sides providing security when in a heavy sea and with a young family on board. Pontoon boats are unbeatable for stability and the Mac 420 is no exception which is why the Coastguard uses the Mac 420. Try out the Coastguard Training Boat and get your ‘Day Skippers Certificate’ using our Mac 420 boat.

Mac 420 Fisherman

The Mac 420 Fisherman is a very popular fishing and diving boat. The Mac 420 Fisherman is stable, safe, easy to tow, launch and retrieve, while providing a soft quiet ride 'second to none’. Mac Boats® have not compromised on the beam width with the pontoon design which has allowed Mac Boats® to have a generous internal space. If you try it you will buy it.

Mac 420Centre Console

This model is ideally suited for the experienced fisherman or diver, commercial and private alike. With room for crayfish, crab pots or all the dive equipment you need, this boat has a very open plan for maximum usable space. Easily maintained, this economical boat will be fun for the whole family and for the children.

Mac 570 Double Centre Console

When the fish are biting the Mac 570 will take you there. Its solid construction is built to take the punishment expected of a serious fishing craft. The pontoon-style sides make it remarkably stable in big seas when you’re chasing the big ones. Yet for such a strong boat, it’s also surprisingly light and easy to handle. The Mac 570 Double Centre Console is a very popular professional diver’s boat capable of carrying up to 7 divers in their diving gear. This boat is a success for commercial operators.

Mac 570 Fisherman

The favourite with families and good fishing buddies that’s built to take you to the good times and back again. What other ‘Cuddy Cabin’ design these days is surrounded with buoyancy like this? So it’s the perfect fishing craft with room for all the gang plus room up front to stow your gear and your catch. A handy canopy shields you from the

summer sun or light showers.

Mac 600 Fisherman

This versatile Cuddy Cabin has good times written all over it. Looks and handles like fibreglass, yet it’s lighter than aluminium, so you’ll need less power to make it go; and it’s easier to tow. With a bimini and clears, it shelters you from the sun and occasional shower, so you won’t come back red-faced. With room for one family or two, plus all your gear and choice of colours for the cabin, it’s a winner. This Mac 600 Fisherman will handle the rough seas of many areas around New Zealand. With its “Deep V” entry it will punch through the waves with a soft ride that Macs are famous for. It is fast for skiing or wake boarding, ideal for diving and very quiet and stable for fishing. The perfect family boat.

Mac 600 Double Centre Console

Fishing craft have to satisfy a lot of needs. A great layout that allows your mates to have a crack at landing a big one. Durable, no nonsense construction with great handling, the 600 series delivers on all counts. With its low maintenance polyethylene construction it can even take the occasional knock without complaint.

Mac 600 Double Centre Console

Fishing and diving craft have to satisfy a lot of needs. The Mac 600 Double Centre Console is ideal for the serious diving crew and fisherman. With the bow entry, the Mac 600 can handle the rough seas. Boarding the 600 from the stern with full diving gear is easy. Stability at rest and the soft riding quiet hull make for the best all round fishing/dive boat in its size.

Mac 600 Sport

The big daddy of the Mac fleet, the 600 is like the 4WD of the water. At first glance it looks like a fibreglass boat, yet it’s resilient enough to handle life’s hard knocks. It’s also a lot lighter so you’ll need less power to make it perform. It’s got the stylish lines to turn

heads yet the handling to turn corners. For families who want to spend quality time on the water, or a fishing craft that can head for deep water, the Mac 600 takes a lot of beating.  The Mac 600 Sport literally has room to spare; with stability and a soft ride it needs less hp for this sized hull than aluminium or fibre glass hulls. This feature means less fuel and less cost both in motor size and operating costs.
