It is with much pleasure that SeaBoats welcomes a new broker to be based in the US.  We have known George Pappas for many years and he describes his history for us here:

“My over 30 years of yachting experience started in 1987, while working as a chemical engineer in the Pharmaceutical Industry.  While on a business trip to Florida was invited on board a yacht with a gas turbine engine, having problems, Needless to say, gave some free advice that a few months later was told it did the job, problem fixed!  Later that year was invited back to help another owner having "technical" problems.  By then I was hooked, which did not take much effort.  Born in Samos, Greece, an island near the Turkish coast, the sea was already my greatest joy!  Moved to the US when I was 7 years old continued my education leading to Chemical Engineering degree and later an MBA in International Trade. But in the background the sea kept calling me back.  In 1995 started PacMarine, a Yacht Project Management/Engineering/Brokerage firm along with some marketing thrown in for good measure, based both here in the USA and Greece.  Later additions where Italy, Turkey and Russia. Looking forward to my next marine project, specializing in high speed marine craft, Hybrid propulsion, Gas Turbine systems both in the commercial/military  and yacht field.”

George joins us with experience with a wide range of vessels and is a great addition to the SeaBoats and especially will be welcomed by our US based clients.
