Propulsion and Speed
The vessel’s propulsion system consist of two marine diesel engines, each driving a waterjet. Full details are given in the Propulsion Selection Diagram (item 2014). The engines are indirectly seawater cooled and electrically started and can be removed via a large hatch.

The vessel will be designed and built to comply with the regulations of ST. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The vessel shall comply with the latest edition of the applicable rules of IMO (as far as applicable for this type and size of Vessel):
  • COLREGS – International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea
  • Statement of main engine’s supplier is supplied, that engines comply with IMO emission requirements (EIAPP – Annex Vl).

All welding will be performed in accordance with actual classification requirements.
On the outside of the hull, the bottom area and for all other areas where contact with water is expected e.g. water tank, sanitary rooms etc., the welding will be continuously.
General Description
The single chine hull has a deep V- bottom, spray rails, a trsnasom stern and a raked bow.
The hull is manufactured for aluminium plates, certified by a major classification society.
Longitudinal and transverse constructions, including engine beds, etc have suitable drainage holes to allow free draining of water to the bilge suctions.
Hull Scantlings
Hull scantlings are based on the requirements of a major Classification Society and / or by “Finite Element Method” calculations.
All the below mentioned thickness are indicative only and can be change based upon final construction analysis.

Sea Inlets
For each main engine a seawater inlet pipe is integrated in the hull construction.
Seawater for the auxiliary engine, toilet and / or the airconditioning system is taken from a separate inlet.
The ample size seawater inlets are designed for operation in the environmental conditions. 
Trim Tabs
Two trim stabs are fitted at the Vessel’s stern to ensure an optimum trim. Each trim tab is provided with a stainless steel tension rod, which can be manually turned for an optimum position of the trim tab.
General Description
Glass reinforced superstructure is resiliently mounted on the hull construction. The efficient layout offers an unobstructed view in all directions. The wheelhouse has an access door in the aft bulkhead and is provided with the following windows:
  • Two windows at the front.
  • Three windows at each side.
  • Two windows at the back.
  • Two windows in the access door.
In front of the wheelhouse a small crew accommodation in situated.

Propulsion Engine System
The main engines have integrated systems for lubrication oil, cooling water (inter-cooling) and fuel oil. The main engine are electrically started and are provided with turbo charging and charge air-cooling.
Reduction Gear System
Each engine is coupled to a gearbox with electrically operated from the dashboard. The gear box is provided with a built-in clutch for neutral and forward operation. The reverse function can be used for back flushing of the water jet.
