This fine vessel was originally built, at a cost of CAD$7,000,000 including $1.0 mil just for the interior woodwork alone. As a world cruising, vessel it utilizes modern fuel-efficient design technology. The hull form is designed to perform exceptionally well in a seaway. Built to ABS Class 1 Certification for unrestricted ocean use and extended offshore cruising (not slower trawler vessel standards). The hull form and bulbous bow are fourth-generation technology. The vessel features a round bilge, full displacement hull form with fine entrance and flattened stern sections. It also features a shallow draft positive flow propeller tunnel for protection.
The controllable pitch propeller makes manoeuvring easy for one person at any of the four control stations. It is possible to literally "inch" into tight quarters, using the infinitely variable CP control, and the 2 side thrusters. The unique bulbous bow is designed to dampen pitching and increase fuel efficiency. The single 1300 hp MAN diesel with a large diameter 45" propeller, provides optimum performance and fuel efficiency, making this vessel up to 30% more efficient than the average production-built cruisers.
At a long-range cruise speed of 10 knots, it takes less than 100 hp to move this vessel along with a range of 7,000 nautical miles. Top speed is 14 knots providing a range of 1700 nautical miles.
The interior is finished with a finely crafted Honduran mahogany and exceptionally detailed craftsmanship. Upgrades include new main engine, June 2018, New antifouling paint June 2018, Topsides and superstructure waxed and polished June 2018

  • Hull and superstructure are of fiberglass (GRP) sandwich construction.
  • The keel is 4" thick of solid fiberglass, finished with a layer of Kevlar.
  • Layup EXCEEDS ABS requirements for a full displacement vessel because the ABS requirements limited the vessel to 12 knots. The owner wanted more speed so the layup is actually the ABS standard for "HIGH SPEED" vessels. In addition, the thwarts and stringers were constructed 75% stronger, than even ABS required.
- only uni-directional, stitched and staggered roving was used.
- there are (2) separate layup, systems employed for above and below WL.
- all vinyl ester resin.
- no mat in the layup whatsoever. Only 1-1/2 ounces of mat was used in the final fairing.
- the keel is 4" of solid GRP with an exterior Kevlar coating. (sample hull, keel, and deck cutouts are onboard, with photo's on file)
