Overview:

This professional conversion of a classic naval vessel is now on the market offering all options for a South Pacific Lifestyle.

‘Takapu 2’ was originally built for the New Zealand Navy as a patrol vessel. The current owners completed an extensive refit working with a Marine architect, interior designer and professional boat builders. The conversion resulted in a superyacht standard interior and maintained the high level of naval engineering and mechanical systems. This is a comfortable, capable and economical vessel having cruised extensively throughout the South Pacific. Twin engines greatly assist the ease of handling by just two people and Flume tank stabilisation also minimizes roll both at sea and at anchor.

She currently provides a marvelous four bedroom luxury ‘down town waterfront home’ and additionally operates as a charter vessel to the corporate market. As a business it offers the advantages to maximise tax incentives such as all depreciation and operating costs. This is truly an opportunity to purchase a luxury vessel plus a well established business with lifestyle and financial return.  Takapu has recently completed its 4 year survey.
